RECLAIMED ROUGH SAWN BEAMS
Rustic reclaimed antique rough sawn beams are salvaged from old barns and other buildings ranging from 100-150 years old. Most of our beams will come with an antique honey brown patina and will have mortise pockets and peg holes. Rough sawn beams were shaped with a saw, and will show circular or band saw marks. Reclaimed beams come fairly square, anywhere from 4”x 4” to 12”x 12”. These sizes are approximate and will vary from beam to beam. As an example, a beam could be classified as 6”x 6”, but actually be 5 ¾”x 6 ¼”. They also range in lengths from 8’-18’ or longer.
